Receptionist

From $17.00 per hour Full-time Day shift
We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to manage our reception / lobby area. You will act as the face of DOGMA and ensure customers and dogs receive a heartwarming welcome. You will coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, email inquiries, scheduling and team management. As a Front office Receptionist, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers. In addition, the work environment involves dogs. Having extensive experience in this field is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material
  • Supervise and support staff, groomers pack leaders
  • Schedule shifts
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer service
  • Handle complaints and specific customers requests
  • Troubleshoot emergencies
  • Monitor stock and order office supplies/grooming supplies/cleaning supplies
  • Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met

Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Front desk manager or Reception manager at dog daycare facilities
  • Hands on experience with office machines
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of G-suite, google for work, Petexec a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • High School diploma; additional certification is a plus
