I was born in Japan and raised in Tokyo and Paris. I experienced Japan’s refined aesthetics and reverence for technique, and the French approach to exceptional service. Bringing those irreplaceable experiences together, culminated in what we know today as DOGMA.

As an animal lover and dog owner all my life, I brought business and dog care to a new level of love, care and service.
DOGMA was created precisely because there was no daycare in NYC that met this standard of love and care for my own puppies, Kaharu and Koyuki. As a former restaurateur and hairstylist, I felt it in my soul that New York City could use a dog daycare facility that meets the high standards of the discerning New York clients and their pups.
Client feedback is clearly positive wether they transition from other places or it’s their first time at DOGMA. DOGMA practices full transparency with email access, photo reports and live video access. DOGMA carefully vets all dogs that come through its doors to make sure it is a safe environment for all.
Our staff is loving and caring and our management continuously seeks to improve and add to the daily experience of each pup. We do encourage play, toys, agility classes, treadmill workouts, power walks and much more.
